The council is committed to listening to, and working with, residents and other stakeholders to make sure our services meet the needs of the different communities we serve. 

Consultation is an important part of our decision making process. We regularly carry out consultation and involve residents, service users and others when we need to review our services or initiatives, or introduce new ones. We consult in lots of different ways - including questionnaires, focus groups, and online surveys. Sometimes we consult jointly with other local organisations.
