District and Parish Elections 2019

Local government elections for the Chichester District and Parish Councils are taking place on Thursday 2 May 2019, for 21 for the District Wards and 59 Parish Wards. There is Information available for becoming a councillor.

If you are interested in becoming a Councillor, it would be beneficial for you to attend the candidates and agents briefing which will cover;

  • key dates in the election timetable

  • the nomination process

  • polling day and the election count

The briefing will be also open to election agents and parish clerks.

The briefing will take place on Monday 4 March 6pm, at the District Council offices and will last approximately 1 hour.
