Authority's Monitoring Report

The Authority's Monitoring Report (AMR) is published annually by the Council and is the main mechanism for assessing the performance, implementation and effects of the Local Plan. The AMR presents an update on progress on preparation of the Local Plan and other related documents, and an assessment of planning policy performance based on output indicators.

Current Authority's Monitoring Report 2015-2016

This AMR covers the period 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016. This report uses the monitoring framework in the Chichester Local Plan: Key Policies 2014-2029 which was adopted in July 2015, but also includes indicators carried forward from the previous Local Plan 1999.

Previous annual monitoring reports

Please note that AMRs published up to 2011 cover the whole of Chichester District (including the area now covered by the South Downs National Park). AMRs published in the period 2011-2014 also include some data relating to the whole District. Therefore some statistics published in these reports may not be directly comparable with equivalent figures in the current AMR.
