  1. Introduction
    1. The basic Council Tax bill asssumes that there are two resident adults living in the property.

A person may be disregarded for the purposes of Council Tax if they provide care to a person in receipt of a specified benefit where the person providing the care is not their spouse, or living with that person as man and wife or the parent of the person receiving the care who is under 18 years of age.

Where there are two or more residents at a dwelling who are not entitled to status discount, no discount is applicable and you should not complete this form.

Please ensure that evidence of the benefits being received is provided. This can be in the form of your letter of entitlement.
