Introduction
1. The basic Council Tax assumes that there are two resident adults living in the property. This may be reduced by discounts of 25% and 50% which are allowed in certain circumstances.
  
  A person may be disregarded for the purposes of Council Tax if they have their sole or main residence in a residential care home, nursing home, mental hospital, or hostel where he/she is receiving care and/or treatment.
  
  Where there are two or more residents at a dwelling who are not entitled to status discount, no discount is applicable and you should not complete this form.
3. Chichester District Council's revenues department manages personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2016 and is a public authority as defined within those regulations.
