Building control inspection form

We are pleased to announce the LABC 'Inspection App', is now available to our Building Control Customers. We are really excited to be able to offer our customers this automated service, which we hope you will find easy to use and save you time.

Simply download the 'Inspection App' to your mobile or device and submit your Inspection request online by following a small number of steps. There is no longer a need to call the council offices or complete the council's online form. The 'Inspection App' request is sent immediately to the BC Admin team for action.

Please note that site inspections must be requested by 4.30pm the working day prior to the inspection being required.

The inspection will take place the next working day if the request was submitted before 4.30pm. Alternatively the inspection will be undertaken on the date requested if not required the next working day.

Please note: site inspections will be made between 9am and 1pm. You must be available throughout this period. The Officer will not provide a more accurate time for the visit or provide notice of when they will arrive without exceptional circumstances.

We require 2 working days notice for a Final Inspection - you can advise of a date provided its 2 working days ahead - a member of the Admin Team will then make contact if unable to attend.
