5 year financial strategy

The purpose of this report is to formulate a Financial Strategy, which will guide the management of the council's finances during a period of very tight external financial constraint and re-prioritisation of local resources arising from the fresh expectations of a new Sustainable Community Strategy and Corporate Plan. The Financial Strategy considers the factors and influences on the council's resources and establishes a view about affordability.
