Registered providers

In 2001 the council transferred its council houses to Hyde, a Registered Provider (RP). We are committed to providing a range of housing options for local people and work closely with several RP development teams, private developers, parish councils and planners to ensure we meet a range of needs.

We have over 9,100 affordable homes in the district, made up of:

• homes to rent (social, intermediate, and affordable rents); and,
• affordable homes to buy (shared ownership, shared equity and discount market sale).

We are currently working with the following registered providers to provide much needed affordable homes in the district.
