The Chichester Cross Market & More Sunday 29 September event is postponed
Due to the adverse weather conditions that are forecast for Sunday, Chichester District Council has made the difficult decision to cancel the Chichester Cross Market & More that was due to take place this Sunday 29 September.
The event has been rescheduled to take place on Sunday 6 October, from 10am to 4pm in North Street and East Street, Chichester. A further Cross Market & More event is also scheduled to take place on Sunday 24 November.
Predicted high winds make gazebos very unstable and so the market has been rescheduled to prevent any chance of them being a hazard. The council has stated that the safety of the public and stallholders must always come first and has apologised for any inconvenience this may cause.
