Your views are really important to us, which is why we regularly launch Let's Talk surveys.

Once a consultation has ended, we analyse the results and compile a report. This can be used in a number of ways, depending on the service area.

Many of our consultations are used to help our councillors make key decisions. The results usually accompany a report on a key decision, and our councillors take account of your views before making a final decision.

Your feedback also helps us to improve our services and identify new ideas and ways of doing things.

If you would like to find the results from previous surveys, please visit our Let's Talk results page.

In the table available you can find a list of all of the surveys we are currently running. Just click on the one that you're interested in to find out more and let us know your views.

If you would like us to let you know every time we launch a survey, please visit the Let's Talk Panel page to find out more and sign up.

If you have any questions, or would like a paper copy, just let us know by getting in touch.

Planning consultations

The Chichester Local Plan - current consultation

It's nearly time for us to submit the Chichester Local Plan. Along with the evidence that we have gathered, the views you have submitted through previous consultations have helped us shape the plan that we intend to submit for examination. Before it is submitted, we are running a very specific consultation, which will run from 3 February until 17 March 2023. This enables you to view the plan and comment on soundness and legal compliance. All of the comments will be submitted to the Inspector for consideration alongside the plan.

If you would like to search for or comment on a planning application you can visit our planning applications webpage and follow the guidance provided to have your say.

You can also visit West Sussex Consultation Hub for live surveys and results of past consultations from West Sussex County Council.
