Permitted low emission vehicles

Low emission cars

For a vehicle to be classed as low emissions the CO2 emissions need to be 50g/km or lower.

The following cars are classified as low emission vehicles. This means they are eligible for a low emissions resident permit.

Low emission vans

Some vans are classified as low emission vehicles. This means they are eligible for a resident permit if they:

  • are less than 2.25 metres in height,
  • 6 meters in length, and
  • 2,540 kg in weight.
