Prevention of public nuisance guidance
Under the Licensing Act 2003 the prevention of 'Public Nuisance' is one of the four licensing objectives that have to be achieved on all applications. Public Nuisance matters include noise, odour, general disturbance, litter, antisocial behaviour, light pollution and all the kinds of issues that can affect occupiers near licensed premises. This guidance document is intended to help in the management of noise and other public nuisance issues from premises.
