Statement of Licensing Policy 2022-2027

The Licensing Act 2003 requires Chichester District Council, as a Licensing Authority, to prepare and publish at least every five years a statement of licensing principles that it proposes to apply in exercising its various functions under the act, commonly known as a 'Statement of Licensing Policy' (the 'policy'). Our previous policy expired on 31 January 2022 and therefore it has been necessary to prepare a revised policy.

The revised policy was considered and approved by Council on 23 November 2021, took effect on 1 February 2022 and will continue to have effect until the end of 31 January 2027.
