Register for busking or book a busking slot

The council has a registration scheme for buskers. We generally support having buskers in the town centre, it can help musicians gain experience of performance and can enhance the town centre experience for visitors. By having a registration and booking scheme, with terms and conditions, we aim to keep busking a positive experience for everyone. You can register here to busk in Chichester Town Centre or in Midhurst. Once you are registered you can book slots here. You will receive confirmation by email and a council officer or police officer may ask to see this, eg, on your smart phone, when you are performing.

When booking a slot you are booking the day and not a timed slot.  We recommend you only busk within shop trading hours.
