Hearing information

The hearing sessions will be held at:

  • Committee Rooms
    Chichester District Council
    East Pallant House
    Chichester
    PO19 1TY.

Observing

Limited seating will be provided for observers to observe the hearing sessions.

If you wish to observe the sessions, please refrain from sitting in any reserved seats, as these are reserved for those participating in the hearing session.

Livestreaming

The hearing sessions will be livestreamed. More information will follow in due course.

Parking

Paid parking is provided at East Pallant House with 165 spaces including 9 disabled spaces. Other car parking options are available nearby.

Attendees can pay for parking in most car parks using MiPermit.

Food and refreshments

You are welcome to consume food on the premises, but please ensure that you dispose of any litter properly. There are food purchase options available nearby.

Accessibility

The main entrance is wheelchair accessible and adapted toilets are provided at the venue. A lift is available to the required floor. Hearing loop facilities are fitted as standard in the hearing room.

If you have any specific requirements, please let the Programme Officer know as soon as possible.

Participating

If you are participating in the hearing sessions, please refer to the latest published programme for the hearing times and check that you are listed as participating in all the hearing sessions you are due to participate in. If you are not listed as you expected please contact the Programme Officer immediately. It is the responsibility of individual participants to check the latest timetable and to ensure that they are present at the correct time.

Nameplates are required for all participants, please ensure that you have provided the name(s) of all your participants to the Programme Officer so she can ensure that you have a name plate for your hearing session(s).

Seating at the hearing table is limited and it may be only possible to seat one participant per representor, limited hot-seating will be provided but please ensure that the Programme Officer is informed of all your participants.

The hearings will take place in the Committee Rooms, if you are listed as a participant or additional participant then a nameplate will be placed at your seat. This is your designated seat, please do not move this or sit elsewhere.

Plug sockets

There are limited plug sockets available, therefore, it is advised that any electronic equipment you require during the hearing is fully charged beforehand.
